NEW YEAR’S EVE IN PALM SPRINGS
We Amtrak from Emeryville to Bakersfield where we spend the night at the
Sheraton and enjoy a hosted dinner at Noriega’s Basque Restaurant. The
next two nights will be spent at the Holiday Inn Resort in Palm Springs.
We’ll enjoy an early show at the Palm Springs Follies which includes
party favors and a champagne toast. We’ll enjoy a guided tour of Joshua
Trees National Park followed by a hosted lunch at the beautiful Mission
Inn in Riverside. Many other meals included.

WONDER VALLEY, LAUGHLIN, LAS VEGAS
This motorcoach trip takes us to Wonder Valley in Sanger for a two-night
stay. While there we cruise on Millterton Lake with a ranger for our
bald eagle safari. Also included will be a guided tour of the area’s
“Blossom Trail” and a visit to the Swedish Village of Kingsburg with
hosted lunch at the Stockholm Bakery & Café. Our next three nights will
be at the Aquarius Casino Resort in Laughlin with an included 90-minute
cruise on the Colorado River and a day visit to Vegas and a visit to the
Liberace Museum. On our last day we stop at the Harris Ranch in Coalinga
for a hosed early dinner. Most meals on the program are included at the
